Is there an invisible image here? Big blank space usually indicates such.

No, just the thought I arrived at work with.

It's a true statement though. Talvez quoteworthy

And a gear complaint: The Conti GP 4 Season tires I've got on the commuter are pretty fast and bullet proof, but the rear wheel is starting to lock up up with even moderately hard braking now. I assume this is due to hardening of the rubber with age (like boat shoes, which generally have to be retired to street wear after two years, another pet peeve).

It's not the tire's fault. Check the brakes.

I relate to the getting passed by girls/women. I don't try to catch them though. There's no way I can. Usually.

Speaking of Tyre Humidors, I have one too and I just checked and I am down to 3 Conti GP4000s, two of which will go on the new wheels for the upgraded Habanero.

So I will be looking at buying some GP5000s in the next several months. A few years ago PBK was the "it" place to get good prices reliably. What's the latest thought?

seedsbelize2 09-30-21 09:49 AM

I can only relate to the last one of the icebike things. The guy I used to ride with never even brought a pump. Tools just weren't on his radar.
O,h, and getting passed by basket in front. The rest I've never heard of nor seen.

My tyre humidor is full to overflowing. I guess I just don't ride enough. I am so ******g busy with other ****. Country life.

Hydro disc. Good pads. Feels normal with no squeal or chatter. What else to check?

Pretty much still is. Get on the email list if you can stand it.

The only wheel I could put on without swapping rotors has 36mm tires.
