Day off. Rain, early meeting, negative TSB. Works for me.

lol.

Annihilated my max 20min pb today. 4hrs in absurd amounts of wind featuring surprise hail and a sunny denouement.

hubcyclist 12-04-15 08:01 AM

if i were strictly following the trainerroad sweet spot base program, today would be a scheduled day off, but my TSB has been positive since Nov 22, I need some volume and it's not terrible out there.

grolby 12-04-15 08:39 AM

Doing 4 days or so totally off the bike starting today. Drinking beer. More than usual, I mean. Hell yeah offseason. 2016 starts in ten days or so. In the meantime, I guess I should put together a stretching and core strength routine. Any suggestions on resources?

Not bad for early December.

4 hours with @globecanvas and his teammate. Suddenly 50 out! Then 35! Then 50 again!

globecanvas 12-04-15 05:18 PM

Goose bump intervals.

aaronmcd 12-04-15 08:45 PM

Recovery week over with a somewhat slow and unmotivated commute. Estimated 110-120 TSS

TheKillerPenguin 12-05-15 09:14 AM

4 more.

aaronmcd 12-05-15 03:56 PM

A bit better workout today. Group ride + climb, 3.25 hours 250 TSS!

Felt good. Hit a solid 5' number chasing down mattm's break, and finally won a group sprint for only the second time ever (not counting track). And I didn't even break 1000.

hack 12-05-15 04:50 PM

Hilly group ride and then 20 tack on miles afterward. 70 miles, 320 TSS, 4:15.

which sprint was that?

It was a good spectrum today, if a bit cold. Won the final sprint. Lost some others.

Openers today. FTP test tomorrow. I'm hoping for 20min around 260w. Previous test had me at 243w.

mike868y 12-05-15 06:10 PM

last cross race of the season and my shifter cable snapped on lap one. sigh. time to dive head first into road training.

TMonk 12-05-15 07:10 PM

3hrs mid z2 today. Ended up 10w under my target, wanted it to be 200w+. After staying out too late w the gf last night and drinking too much, I decided it was best to take it easy, although the legs were ready for more. Hit a solid 4' climb near the end at 118%, so that's cool.

tmrrw: 5.5-6hrs, prob my biggest ride of the year, capping off a 15hr week.

hubcyclist 12-05-15 07:33 PM

90 mins, 3x20 sweet spot (90-90-92% respectively), it was a little tough given that I chose to do a big ride yesterday instead of rest. but I hit my numbers

TheKillerPenguin 12-05-15 08:28 PM

Tomorrow is 4 more hours, again. Oddly enough my legs feel OK, but there are other seemingly random body parts that do not.

caloso 12-05-15 08:28 PM

Rode around on the fixed gear for an hour. Swung by SacCX to see the last few laps of the day and chat with some friends.

aaronmcd 12-05-15 09:24 PM

Alpine and 280

gsteinb 12-06-15 01:13 PM

11 hours, 700 TSS

tough week at the office

canuckbelle 12-06-15 01:42 PM

Wooo!! FTP test: 266w (up from previous test of 243w). The coaching is really paying off ^_^

Rounded out to 2hrs of riding: 138TSS

Surfer3287 12-06-15 01:56 PM

3H ride, 3x20 and Endurance the rest of the ride. Had to stop for a flat - probably time to change the rear, it's pretty damn smooth and data says it's been about 3750-4000 miles. 168 TSS

All that poutine probably helped, too.

There is a distinct lack of quality poutine down here. There's one place, but they use the wrong kind of gravy. Sacrilegious.

burger0014 12-06-15 06:50 PM

10.5 hrs. 660TSS. My legs are killing me and I can't stop eating. FTP must be set correctly

hack 12-06-15 07:09 PM

About 3 hours and 210 TSS with several 5-10 minute climbs today. 700 TSS on the week and will be at -40 TSB/97 CTL tomorrow. Legs are tired.

TMonk 12-06-15 07:51 PM

792 TSS in 15:26 this week.
