WTB: Schwinn Voyageur frameset

Looking for a Schwinn Voyageur frameset, preferably a Voyageur SP. I need approximately a 55cm frame, which makes Schwinn a bit difficult for me, as I'm between Schwinn sizes 21 and 23 inch, but there was a 22 inch Schwinn size for a few years in the mid 1980s that would fit me well.

Preferably Columbus SL or less preferably Tenax. Not interested in the Tange ones at the moment.

Where's that 85 SP you never ride?

That trek in the link looks just like my 85 410 which is made from True Temper CroMo with some campy and decent wheels. $50? geez. Great buy if you're local... Looks like Shimano shifters on it though so who knows. Definitely same frame.

Good luck with your search. Took me forever to find a SP frame. If I find one in a 22" model I will let you know.

That one looks like an 88 or 89, which only came in 21 or 23. Looking at it, I'm guessing 23. Not gonna fit.

It looks like 22 inch only existed in 1985?

Okay, darn. I might go grab it and the Trek anyway. My daughter is heading to St. Louis Friday, would have been perfect, :)

If you check it out, will you measure it for me, Flogoo? Anything north of 56cm top is too long.

The '89 in 23" may work for you, I have a 25" '89 and the TT is only 56 cm on that.

This one has been kicking around Boston's CL for quite a while now.

I've requested a few better pictures, no reply. I'll keep you posted.

Top Tube replacement?

Right?

I've been watching that for a while with no price drop over time. Mismatched paint & "VOYAGER" decal (no "U"?) seems at least a bit sketchy. Maybe somebody used it on a trainer and rusted the top tube with sweat?
