Recent post by @jdawginsc prompted me to think about this, used to be (and hopefully will be again) the dragbike hauler.

What do you think is in there now? ;)

Cool fox body stang. Those are starting to command some $$$. I have no idea what's in the box. My only guess is a lot of bicycles. :)

Yep, I have people stopping often to buy it, so far have turned down $7500, and yep on the bicycles, lots any guess?

The Mustang was the tow car and drag car, tow the bike and trailer down, unhook the Mustang, wife race it, me on the bike, end of the day pack it all up and drive home.

It towed to the races twice a week for 10+years, total bad azz.

Mustang has over 300K on it, still runs but overheats bad, probably needs a head gasket, have a bunch of parts including a spare core block if it comes to that.

Ok, I’ll play: motherlode of NOS suntour cassette hubs, as well as a large quantity of NOS campagnolo syncro-1 downtube shifter ring inserts, all colors made.

Hey, I dream big, but not too big.

It's the cassettes I can never find...:notamused:

edit: Please don't offer me cassettes now, I've ditched my hubs after 20 years.

Bianchigirll 01-14-22 07:20 PM

Tall ones....?

A Bianchi that shall not be named?

A fleet of Domino's pizza delivery bikes with flip flop hubs?

Nothing and you are just messing with us?

Is that an 88?

I had an 88 LX convertible. My last manual transmission I've had.

89 auto, never been a manual fan although they are fun to drive. Either way the LX's are lighter and faster than the GT's. ;)

I learned on manual, I had a car that had a hinky clutch- so I could drive anything. Heck I could start a jeep out in 1st smooth. (OK, I can't- but no one can).

I saw my car about 2 years after I sold it in a parking lot. I knew it was mine because I had a body shop do a repair and they over-sprayed the frame.

That was a great looking car- white body, black top, black bra, black trunk rack. *sigh*
