I think you run your mtb bar pretty low. I like it almost saddle level, I can't ride off stuff like he does .I think he's one of the last to use a dropper, too.

I have a pretty significant drop on my road bike, but my MTB is about an inch below saddle level.

Yeah. I'm a big fan of the kid. He's pretty good at bikes.

You'd definitely need a bigger bike.

You know they make bikes in different sizes, right? Nino is a fairly small guy (5'-8")

Here's pics of his '22 race bike... https://www.velonews.com/gallery/gal...-rc-world-cup/

p.s. if you follow the grade, it does have some pitches of 15-20% the last quarter mile. Ouchie!

I did this one for the first time a few weeks ago- we’ve got a bunch like this around here

This is my favorite around here:

Its a pain to get to the good hills, like 20-25 miles in most cases

Say what?! I’m 5’7” and I don’t consider myself small. Ok ok, my Propel is labeled ‘S’ as is my tandem and my Colnago is a 48”.

Crap! I am small.

Still, I was center on my under 5’7” basketball team.

I watched it and that Spaniard did pretty well. That last attack was too much for him, though.

For some reason, the guys in my hometown were all smaller than those in the surrounding school districts. Our center in basketball was 6'1". There's were 6'2" to 6'5".

In football, our first string quarterback was about 5'7". When they put in the 6' tall second string QB, everybody knew we were going to pass, because we had to have a QB who could see over the linemen. So they'd blitz, but the joke was on them because out 6' QB was also one of our sprinters in track and he'd generally gain yardage running with the ball to escape the blitz.

Can't Shorty roll out to the side?

The little guy wasn't a sprinter. He ran the mile and the 880. The big guy was on the Quarter Mile and Mile Relay teams, which mattered more to our track coach.

I don't think Brees was either, but 'twas a joke.

The nightshades may be a thing - slept to the alarm two of the three nights since cutting them out. I thin most of you know how rare that is; that might happen twice in a year normally.

Of course that means I rushed the Wordle and effed it up but good. Guess three was a total mid-coffee whiff.

I've been sleeping straight through on occasion. That never happens, going back many, many years.

It's back-to-school season. At least around here. I try to get to work by 7-ish to avoid traffic.
