Started about the same and did about the same.

Just 15 miles. But it was good 15 miles. Brought me so much joy

macattack71 09-09-23 11:53 AM

35 miles, I waited for it to warm slightly before leaving, 58F this morning. 9 am start. A neighbor trapped me in a conversation right as I was getting ready to leave.

georges1 09-09-23 12:49 PM

25 km through roads with not so much traffic, pleasant ride.

LostinEndicott 09-09-23 05:26 PM

12 mile shake down cruise for the rain bike. Monday is the only day I can ride to work this week, and there is a 70% chance of rain in the morning. I havenít ridden my rain bike in quite a while, so I tuned it up and took it out to the rail trail.

Troul 09-09-23 05:30 PM

79 miles & got caught in a random mist of cold rain. 58įF is not cool, it's cold when moiiist.

When I was working in an office, I would commute on my bike most days and would typically leave my house around 2 am. It was a 7 mile commute, did not take me long, but I was working some stupid hours at that place, so this was the only way I could get some miles in.

jaxgtr 09-09-23 07:02 PM

I went out early today, started about 8-ish to beat the heat as I was still not feeling 100%, was only planning 40 or so, but I got over taken by a large group ride, so I just tag on if nothing else to get out of the mild but really annoying 8 mph headwind. They were doing about 22 mph and just dragged me along for the ride, it made for a fantastic recovery ride so to speak. Once I got to my original planned turn around spot, I said screw it and kept going. Ended up doing 82. Luckily they stopped at some gas stations along the way, so I could refill with water and get some carbs, since I had not planned that long of a ride, I was not fully stocked with food, gel or anything for 82 miles. Gummy bears and a couple of bottles of coke were my friends today. Feel really tired now, but it felt good getting out.

Only 2 miles today lol...it was a little recovery spin/visiting some family on one of my mountain bikes. I'm closing in on 15 hours of rolling time this week, my legs needed the day off today.

38 miles today near my house and surrounding areas. Great weather today!

A neighbor and I have formed a cycling club:

We call our club (Our County name) Cyclers Anonymous.

The purpose of the club is: When you feel the urge to ride over 10 miles, call another member who will come over and drink margaritas with you until the urge passes.

Troul 09-10-23 09:38 AM

88 miles before the scheduled rain drops.

Sierra_rider 09-10-23 10:49 PM

26 miles and 3000' of gravel/fire roads to round out the week. The mileage for the week is pretty unimpressive(181), but 20k' of climbing and 17 hours of riding this week.

Just a short 7 mile ride on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail in the Carnation, WA area about 27 miles east of Seattle with my non-biking friend.

A whole 2 1/2 miles, then my granddaughter called and said the school bus never showed up. Oh well Pop Pop bus service on the way. Maybe Iíll get a good ride in tomorrow.

Troul 09-13-23 04:55 AM

55 miles.

diphthong 09-13-23 09:26 AM

out of town 41-spot.

HectorStorm 09-13-23 09:43 AM

Got back in from a 42-mile ride to Wadworth and back on a route I haven't done yet, this afternoon.

macattack71 09-13-23 06:57 PM

24 total miles, 12 each way to and from work. The cooler weather really helps, though running out of daylight soon.

JochenRindt 09-13-23 07:13 PM

50 miles on the Pumpkinvine Trail in Elkhart County, Indiana. Started around 12.20 in temps that were low 60s and overcast conditions- even a few specks of rain. By the time I was close to finishing, the sun had emerged and it was probably 70 degrees. All in all, I would say it was a very good ride; I felt fresh and there was very little wind. My Austro Daimler Vent Noir rode flawlessly.

After work road ride of 28 miles. Man work just gets in the way. But not next year when Iíll be retired.

Cooler below 80 F. Next time to ride is this weekend. N+1 is hard to decide what to ride and where. Iíd like to ride the high bridge trail around Farmville but thatís an eight hour day with drive time. SO may not approve. May be just three or four hours of mountain bike riding. I need more chigger bites.

17 hour work day.... :notamused:.... I am ready to break some knuckles so certain people will never touch a keyboard again. Got in 29 miles and 2.5K of climbing inside today, some 19% sections, hard, slow climb, but it helped eliminate my knuckle breaking desires.

What a coincidence. I also rode 41 miles today as well! Can definitely tell that Fall is right around the corner.

each day that passes, it seems the number of people meeting that criteria increases. I ask myself, "would i look good in orange?"

the hills/mountains set you free...whether it's crawling uphill at 3.9 mph or descending at 50 mph and everything in between.
