Got away from her/him. Too much car.

One time at work a company or so ago, we were talking about birthdays, and I discovered that a woman I worked with not only had the same birthDAY, but the same birthDATE, and it turns out we were both born around Noon, but she was older because she was born in Eastern Africa, whereas I was born in upstate New York.

I'm semi-ashamed to admit that I hardly know any Bowie after the "Tonight" album.

I do have this song on my phone, because I was a HUGE fan of Uncle Floyd that one year of my youth I spent in New Jersey.

Mrs. GeneJockey has been a HUGE Bowie fan since before we met - and we met at 17, 47 years ago. She bought "Tin Machine", because she had to own all of his albums. She played it once, declared it 'Not His Best' and put it on the shelf. Years later, she started playing it. Not often, but she apparently got over disliking it.

A long standing coincidence is that April people are some of my favorite people. Even my dog’s birthday is tomorrow. #firesigns

There is a show called "Auto Biography" on Motortrend tv. The episode about the Enzo crash on PCH is pretty good.

02. The Case of the Split Enzo
The world's most famous Ferrari crash happened on February 22nd, 2006 when a Ferrari Enzo split in half on the PCH in Malibu, California, and both passengers emerged unharmed. But the tale of Split Enzo morphed quickly into a bizarre crime story.

Mine's coming up in a couple weeks. Explains why I'm one of your favorite people?

April Dogs are cool.

Delta: 1 She's the one holding the doll in my profile pic.

Uncle Floyd is/was an institution in Jersey. I think that might have been the first time I saw The Ramones.

I usually get the best Motorola I can get for less than $250. Actual price paid has gone up and down though. I spent $189 for a Moto in 2016, then $239 for two (BOGO!) in 2019. That one was a little slow though, then I broke the speaker so $229 for a single phone again in 2021.

If you're going that route, why not Xiaomi?

I have considered them, but when I looked into actually purchasing one, it just seemed easier to grab another Moto.

Maybe in 2024...?

I didn't notice them until after I ordered my latest. It's a bit tricky making sure you get a model that will work with your provider, since they're not made for the U.S.

The insides have all been pre-sanded, but I do need to touch up a couple of exterior surfaces and then I can start priming/painting and working on the doors. I probably won't get all of the doors done by the end of next weekend, but I can take another week on them, if I need to; the main goal was to have the cabinets hung by the end of spring break, which isn't looking like a problem at this point.

Have you considered carved relief oak leaves? Lemmy would. :)

Got my INR test score. it was a 2.6 neatly nestled in the desired 2.5 to 3.5 range.

Which Shimano groupset is it that keeps eating shifter cables? I think it was datlas that had this issue?

I've been pondering whether to update the Litespeed to 11 speed Ultegra, a thought which often occurs to me as I grind up a 6+% gradient in 39x25.
