Can they hold their own?

The skinny tension verticals are “fracture critical.” They should be inspected yearly because if any one of them develops a crack, the bridge would be closed immediately.

OMG, the other day I spotted a 3800 SC in a Chevy Venture, now this! Dual 3400 Venture!!!

That second motor would really ruin bike hauling for me though.

When it comes to arches, it's the wood that makes it good.

Moulton Falls Bridge, just a little NE of Vancouver, USA

Not necessarily.

Would you open the windows in a Goggomobil T400 at 100 mph? Maybe the warning sticker doesn't always apply :)

Odometer only has five digits. Olde cars were junk.

99,999 miles covers a lot of trips to the Piggly Wiggly and the occasional expedition to OH. :)

That sticker is irrelevant. The only way a Goggomobill T400 would do 100mph is if it were pushed of a cliff. The 400 in the name refers to the engine capacity. In cc.

It’s a wet, dreary day so no riding.

I was hoping to watch the Tour of Flanders but GCN+ is the only premium channel I pay for, and they are blocked in USA because Flobikes.

I am running out of excuses to not do my taxes.

What kind of speed can you get going into turn 2?

I have done 35-38... and been passed.

Yep, luckily I have FloSports.

For a couple of months I've had a weird set of torso rashes that I first thought were me being my normal itchy self and scratching too hard, then figured had to be a food allergy. After a few weeks of that failing, it looks exactly like post-covid urticaria. If so, it would work out so that I got it on that Hawai'i trip. No loss of taste or smell, nor any other symptoms.

FML.

Going to try to find an antibody test for tomorrow.

Midnight Wordle. Screwed up by not using a letter I got on 2. Should have scored a 3. Let that be a lesson.

Well I failed this morning, so good job by comparison!

My daughter had a severe cold which led to severe bronchitis. She’s doing better now but she’s still coughing and not her full throttle self. I was heading to work yesterday and in the morning I started feeling pretty bad. My flight was delayed which ended up being a good thing, I felt worse and worse. Ended up calling out. today I feel even worse.

Weather is absolutely perfect too btw.

What is more offputting to me is that the speedo only goes to 80. ☹️

If it requires an "e," is the "e" really superfluous? :foo:

My olde Ford Fiesta's speedo only went to 80. I'd try to make sure to bury it every time I got on the freeway.

I think it was a 1980, so it was actually just old I guess. :)
