but what the heck is the other thing you bought? |
Strangely I found a photo of the exact combination of items I bought for my bike just a couple weeks ago

nice. clipless ftw. i gotta throw the eggbeaters back on my bike
|

those kind of clipless are good for all around/commute use. I personally find that Look style clipless actually rides better when doing serious training/long rides. I wish I could get some of those type shoes/clips so I could ride around town w/ clipless and still walk into places without changing shoes.
I just bought a Tranz-X bullhorn, a reverse style tektro brake lever, a Pake crank, and some MKS sylvan w/ MKS cages. New build... |
i went to town this week.
brooks swallow sidi dominator 5 ultegra 6600 seatpost hope seatpost clamp nitto noodle 42cm Stronglight chainring pair of michelin pro 3 race new hoops laced to chris king hubs shimano touring/mtb shoes selcof 12cm stem |
the name of this thread should be "how did you stimulate the economy today?"

Can I make a totally unsolicited suggestion? When you wear out your Tektro pads maybe pick up some Kool-Stop salmon brake pads. They're really good.

Feels like I'm whoring out this picture buuuuutttt...
My most recent purchases: Shot lever Velo-Orange bar covers Brooks B17 in BRG http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/DSC02863.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...bullhorn-1.jpg |
I just bought a Fuji Track on CL. I hate the colour though, any recommendations? The wheelset will probably be gold deep-Vs....

I know that saddles are a personal choice, but i really recommend it if any lady is looking for a saddle. Cheap too! |

I have those same shoes except with carbon soles. I haven't had time to go for a long ride with them yet. :(
