It definitely doesn't make any sense. I paid less for my complete crabon bike with better components than the Allez frame itself costs. On the other hand, I really like colors.

That line of (non-)reasoning is why I have seven bikes at home. :notamused:

$2k is about where I end up each time, too, either with disc (where I can use my Assaults but the frame and group is more expensive) or with rim (where I need to purchase new wheels). $2k is still a complete built, CF and 105, in my mind, so the notion of it being a budget build just goes out the window. Maybe if I had spare parts sitting around, like some of youse.

I love that Langster. There is a frame for sale on ebay for like $450 and it is my size...

Flu shot done.
BTW at some point I do advise you get the shingrix. It's 95% effective. |
Wife got her flu shot a couple weeks ago and I took the kids for their shots yesterday; I need to make an appointment for myself before I forget again.

Not enough color. |
It wouldn't include the colorful wheels though, which is sad.

Done that too (and pissed and moaned about it here). I really, really, don't want zoster and I've seen a case or two of varicella vasculopathy, which is simply terrifying.

My wife had to wait well over the 6 mo limit for her second dose. When they called her in for it, she asked if she could put me on the list and they said, "Oh, just tell him to come in today." Apparently, letting spouses cut in line was RiteAid policy. Anyway, yer young yet. |

Would be tempted if it took rim brakes. |
I also have this problem. I don't foresee a new bike for a long time. My wife is at her limit.

Cold this a.m. and it's not even cold yet: long tights, wool jacket, and vest. Just ordered a packable wind jacket from Pactimo.

Good thought. The thing is, I have had the same exact setup on my bike for a decade, so I am doubting that as a cause. But if a recurrent or persistent problem I will consider.

Word. I had to battle the elements this week. The awesome Marigold jacket may makes its appearance soon.
