Tuesday's date is 2-22-22.
It is also the end of my Marietta daily journal subscription. Then I'll be just like Velo Vol - a non subscriber. Shutter the thought.

I posted in the 50+ forum, and now I feel old.

Corsa's do ride nicely, but their flat protection isn't close to the Rubino Pro Slicks.

Hence my hesitation to mount them in the winter. But after 2 months of practically no rain, the roads are all dry, dry, dry, so I'm a lot less worried about punctures.

I have many sources and know what's happening.

That chart in Decline is just silly.

I bet it was delayed due to Daytona. Based on the past few years, Daytona has been wet, so with a bit more interest in NHRA lately, I think they want to make sure plenty of eyes are on it.

I was too busy putting in a new dishwasher, totally missed out on Daytona.

The bit before the race would've been my favorite part though.

Bite your tongue. It makes me feel young again.

I was offered a free month of Amazon Prime. I accepted and just finished watching season one episode one of Mr. Robot. I will watch it until my sub runs out. Having watched the whole thing before, I hope to be able to see the dominoes fall into place as it goes along.

Wish I could say I’ve never experienced anything like that.

A knockdown and Chinese gybe or two, but no t-bones, tangling with commercial traffic, or beachings in surf. I have, however, run aground at full speed under spinnaker in one of the dumbest and funniest episodes of my sailing career.

Have to say, I've never run aground under sail, only under power. Doing it under spin would be funny but not funny at the same time, but only to an observer or ten years later.

Was t-boned and t-boned once each, fortunately not helming or on my boat either time.

Got home, hung the bike up, and as I was taking off my gloves, heard the hiss of the rear tire flatting. I might want to check that tire a little more carefully this time.

And. then as I awoke I remembered I have those gatorskins. Their time has come

It's Monday and of course it's warming up and a great day to ride. Several of my cycling friends are off today for the President's Day holiday and going for a ride, and although part of me is happy for them, snarky me is feeling kinda snarky.
