She was pretty inept. She rode away and was trying to skateboard while sitting on the saddle. Caught up to her and showed her the proper way. She thanked me again and started making better time.

Nah, I think it's great. My LBS carries Rapha, but they're really selective with what they're carrying in-store... and I don't fancy much of what they've selected. Looks like REI only has the Merino warmers (I'm kind of more interested in the non-merino options, I just assume they'd be better in terms of wind blocking...), but that's better than what my LBS is carrying... which is none of their warmers.

Have you seen me posting cries for help such as this?

There is actually a guy around here that rides with his dog in a basket. The guy is real erratic and a menace.

I've seen someone hauling a dog in the back, but not on the road.

Sometimes see dogs being hauled in trailers.

People do weird things.

I was behind a cyclist towing a trailer with a bigger small dog and her purse on Friday. Bad pass in rush hour traffic.

Proper arms and legs are essential. I don't do knickers.

Mrs John suggested I take my cat on a bike ride. I told her he weighs as much as the bike.

My friend took her bike to the LBS and they said they can send it out for repair, $300-$500, or see about a crash replacement discount from BMC.

I don't have any experience with this but I told her to send some pics to Calfee and see what they say. I would trust them and I don't know of another frame repair service I could trust.
