I use a Garmin, but I plug it into a computer and drag the file to the Garmin. Easiest way that I've found, but there may be better ways.

I have a house tarantula that hangs out on the side of my house; mud daubers, carpenter ants, beetles, snails, big black crickets that the birds love to eat, bunnies - holes in the yard with baby bunnies (nests), geckos, fire ants, and some other boring stuff like squirrels and birds.

When I was working at Cornell, we were talking with the new grad students in the department about the things we liked about living in Ithaca. Ithaca has SCADS of fireflies, aka lightning bugs. We asked them if they had fireflies where they came from. One young woman, who was from Georgia, said, "We don't have Fahr Flahs, but we do have Fahr Ants. Are they like that?"

I have heard that they even make rafts out of themselves and float around, if their anthill gets inundated.

We have a couple of 520s, and they still work great. I primarily use a 1030+ because I can see it better and hear the chimes better on it.
