I wanted a maroon B17, never made of course.
ordered a new one in Honey, wipedxit down aggressively with lacquer thinner to get rid of the factory finish as best I could, mixed up leather dye and applied several coats to a uniform covering. Let cure, then sealed with bees wax and clear shoe polish.

I have a Brooks C17 that I'd be willing to part with. Copper rivets and black rails. It doesn't quite work for me. I'd be willing to swap for pretty much anything of similar value. I think I'm looking for something a bit narrower (in the 140mm width range).

EDIT: I'm *not* interested in leather saddles.

Thank you for sharing. I'm really looking for a white Rolls if anybody has one to swap. In the meantime, I did resurrect a plastic unicanitor saddle with a fresh sheet of leather off amazon and its actually pretty comfy. This is the kind of saddle profile I'm looking for.
