Although apparently they got the sinus swab (while I submitted a saliva sample) and didn't feel like they were receiving a lobotomy so maybe the technician didn't perform the test correctly.

We're both feeling mostly normal thankfully. Still need to get boosted whenever it's recommended post infection.

Glad you guys are doing okay.

I'm going to call it. Oof has officially replaced ouch as the standard response to something unpleasant or undesired.

Tour de Zwift??

MoAlpha 01-22-22 07:13 AM

Something longer and slower. I am still recovering from a set of squats I did on Wednesday. :50:

I’ll do TDZ #4 later in the week and try to push it.

Since I began sleeping in a hammock full time, sleeping in abed ****s with my back and hips. On this trip I'm sleeping in a bed for ten days straight. Yesterday I had to go to the chiropractor after my new trick knee collapsed for the second time in a few days. One of the women whose house we were in thought I had fainted and in he panic she knelt ony glasses, destroying them.. I'm walking with a cane and now I can't see.
So please forgive any typos.

Whoa! Tough trip. Hope you get it all squared away soon!

Oh man, sounds terrible. Time to start traveling with the hammock, a couple of eyehooks, a studfinder, drill, and spackle for afterwards.

Wut. Forget the trainer - 5" of snow in Williamsburg is Armageddon.

You we’re negative too right?

Negative, I was positive.

I think the tech botched the swab. Who knows. Certainly more likely that they had a false negative than if I had a false positive especially with our symptoms.

They were able to taste a little bit of the dinner I cooked last night :bday:

It was even worth tasting!

Have you given them the test in that TikTok, where the lady took sips of water, vinegar, coffee, and Tabasco (or something along those lines?). :)

Sounds like the trip has really aged you. Heal up ASAP!

datlas 01-22-22 09:44 AM

Had to cut my fake ride short to put out a couple on-call fires. Sigh. Gonna try some real miles tomorrow as it will be a smidge warmer and I can get one of my partners to cover for 2 hours.

big john 01-22-22 09:49 AM

High wind warning all over the area today, predicting 50 mph gusts in my area and 60 mph in other areas where i like to ride. I think I'll take the mtb out and give it a go. Seems a little calmer now than it was last night.

I just conducted self-surgery and removed a splinter. Can I file an insurance claim and bill several hundred dollars?
