Multi-quote hasn't worked for me in years.

Blockade-running- not just Civil War.
I was hoping for Uganda. Might be a bit difficult in a sail boat.

Any boat and to get there by sea, looks like you’d have to go right past Somalia to Kenya, the worst waters in the world for piracy. What were you planning to do there? Sounds interesting.

I am SO relieved to hear our leader tell us that a scarf can be better than a mask. Gotta go find my balaclava.

I think it would be best if one wore an eye patch in order to fit in.

I have heard those guys patched one eye to keep it dark adapted. Hardass!

Went to old people hours at the local supermarket this morning. The bad: Crowded with little sense of distancing and because it was only one hour right at opening and everyone was hot to trot, we were part of a bolus of people moving through the store. The good: Mask density was about .75!

Well, landed an internship today. Plans/intentions laid for the past several years had to change with recent events and thus no international traveling, which bums me out. On the other hand, I don't have to quit my "essential services" job to fulfill said internship, so I still get a paycheck. If all goes well, graduation is imminent in August.

Sad.

Sounds like you need a new bike to me.

Which shifter and what model?

Did you mean caustic instead of sarcastic? Just trying to help.

It would have been something along the lines of 12 weeks working with local populations. I don't have any particulars on possible projects, unfortunately, as even applying (and I had a very good chance of being accepted) is a moot point now- considering it just came up on my Handshake site a couple of months ago. But here's a brief intro to the organization:

That's a 2004 model Cyrene, tastefully toned down from an earlier version that was hideous . . . looked like a tattooed arm sleeve.
