I just looove the Gulf Stream. Here's me and my late buddy Larry in the goddamn thing. My juices were definitely flowing.

Will not hit the road without it.

it is better than that. I suggest you internalize it until one day you blow up in spectacular fashion and we can watch it on the TV. Including the perp walk.

Air temp was probably about 80º F that day, but you can't sit around a t-shirt and shorts when it's dumping rain and blowing a nice steady 40 kts.

I would drop anchor and go underneath until the rain stopped.

Don't count for what?

The water was about 5000 meters deep and we was racing!

You would have to have about 40,000 feet of rope/chain on your anchor to do that.

They shouldn't be allowed on Strava and don't count for the contest.

I seem to have caught a sniffle after the cold rainy ride yesterday. I’m struggling to get out there lately and while I need to get 40 more in this week, have no desire to go.

Why? Are you aware that Strava is not just for cycling?

A guy buzzed me really close on a wide 4 lane road. I caught up at a light and said "You could have given me a little more room" and the female passenger started rolling up the window as the driver launched into a tirade of obscenities. The light turned green and he took off, still screaming at me and turning his head and he almost drove into a street vendor parked at the curb. She must have warned him he was about to run someone over. Hey, I tried to be nice and it almost got someone hurt.

Another time a punk-ass kid blasted us with "rolling coal" from his diesel. My friend, who will fight anyone, anytime, chased after the truck and when a red light blocked the road, the truck turned right to escape and almost ran over some kids in the crosswalk. They actually had to scatter to avoid being hit by the coward.

So I guess running aground isn't a problem. No worries, then.

Fake miles have been discussed here before. TTKU.

Sorry. That's hard.

For me, it's physical and psychological burnout, a.m. group rides in rush hour traffic (nope), and work.

Funny how my body and my fitness development can't tell the difference.

I got coal rolled yesterday morning. No close passes though.

I definitely have some psychological burn out. 10 months of an incredibly high stress environment has worn me out mentally and physically. Today is my last day at current job and I’m not even reveling in it because I feel like **** (C19 negative though).

Wife and I have a mini trip next week in the Catskills for a couple of days then it’s on to better and bigger things a week from Monday.

If I didn’t feel like a fat ass today I would have tried.

My heart was a steady 165 the whole ride…….

That's pretty much my experience. I've basically given up.
