I might visit the Rapha NYC clubhouse this weekend. I ordered some bibs, but they got delayed and didn't make it in time (I also had the shipping address changed so that they'd meet me in VA, but they still delivered it to my house :rolleyes:), and I could use another set of bibs for the trip. I'd really like to get hands-on with an aero jersey, too - I'll take all the help I can get.

I was hoping to pick up a No.2 while I was in town, but no dice.

Pencils. But, I did get an ice cream cone after dinner. So the day wasn't a total bummer. ;)

Burlington is much farther north, and on the good side of the lake. Last time I was in Burlington (2018) the lake was rough the second day from a storm front.

Interestingly, coming into Ticonderoga is where I hit my maximum speed crossing the country. Around 49 mph.

I believe I've visited Ft. Ticonderoga, somewhere back in the mists of time. Might have been when Dad piled 7/8 of us into a car that looked like this:

Customer is a larger gentleman who is getting recurring rear flats riding gravel on 34mm tires. This might be a good option for him. At least until he gets a set of 650b wheels so he can start running 45mm.

Installation wasn't really too bad. It took a few inflations before they finally sealed and held pressure though. The insert hinders sealant distribution inside the tire somewhat.

I went to the one in San Francisco a few years back. It felt like the Neiman-Marcus of bike apparel. High quality but prices to match. Cool posters on the walls.

I just checked and there is a Rapha Clubhouse in Santa Monica, not terribly far from here. 50-50 I go visit.

Grace made landfall in Tulum at 5 AM, as a Category 1 hurricane. 25mph winds expected to arrive here in a couple hours and continuing through the afternoon. Heavy rain expected this afternoon through tomorrow. This is the fourth tropical storm we've prepared for, each time with a little less prep than the previous time.
