I see owners online trying to find the little parts without much luck.

Especially seeing what covid did to the availability of parts, I wouldn’t want to assume that’ll be the situation even for Giant in the future.

And speaking of covid, a coworker and his whole family got it. I assume it’s from the kids at school. The kids have no symptoms; the parents feel pretty terrible.

Rather tight margins for first loser on the podium.

Four different seatpost diameters among the eight bikes in the rjones28 cycling fleet, but they are all round.

Learned today that one of my case opponents has been in the hospital on a ventilator for at least 2 weeks due to Covid. Of course, unvaccinated and rather pudgy. Dude is in his mid-40s.

It would take some doing to figure out the multiples for me.

I sure would take a spin on ye olde 26.0mm bike, it's been quite a while. Warning: boondocks content. (even though they were being swallowed by the suburbs)

Round pegs don't always fit in round holes it would seem.

Same in bars. Getting a decent brown ale or porter is almost impossible. "Do you have a darker beer?... "Yes, we have an xyz IPA"

They do if you use a big enough hammer.

Combining two threads of the conversation - When you're hammered, everything looks like an ale.

Busy day at work. I skimmed the dailies and did not see the big announcement from VV. Did I miss it?

Hot day on the lawn. DougRNS and his Enegizer mower wouldn't have lasted one hour this morning.

well that’s depressing. Looks like either wilier won’t be available until may next year. I have one bike shop hunting down a frame for me but with them building it, it’s going to exceed the cost. They offered sram red axs and enve wheels for 5 percent off but I think that will bring it to 10,000 or more. Wilier USA advertises di 2 for 9,000, however if I could get it with sram force it would be 8,000. I even am now leaning towards the zero SL. With sram or chorus it would be 7,000 which would leave money over for a computer, power meter and trainer. Unfortunately I can’t find one anywhere.

Not that I need to rush, but getting permission from the wife one has to act before she changes her mind.

Allied echo interest me a lot, just doesn’t have the aero I was hoping for, but maybe that’s not as important? Thoughts?

Someone summarize the vibe here today with a music video.

One submission only, please.

There aren't street lights in the boondocks.

I cut all of the lawns today in one session. Used both batteries and was done in about an hour. It was prolly 90 F and humid. I HTFU and completed it with grace and style.

I wouldn't compromise anything on my "want" list at these kinds of price points.
