Sounds like about as much fun as Route 30.

I'd start with one of these first if the Rona ever gets under control. Lots of tough climbing rides in the western part of the state also. The RABA Heart Of VA ride is this weekend in Ashland. It's a good route.

Sad.

Sparwood is home to the largest truck ever built.

Again?

The lawn doesn't look this way by itself.

Note the precision edging along the road/sidewalk, as far as the eye can see.

So, the land is only half dead.

You're one of those "Glass Of Poison Is Half Empty" kind of guys, aren't you?

It depends on who you're with, and the route.

Like if you're stuck with DougRNS playing his favourite '70s 8-tracks, hard pass.

RV rental is not cheap these days. I looked into it some last year, and besides the daily rate of $300-400+/day for a Class B type, the charge was typically $.50 - 1.00/mile for every mile over 100, and add prep, clean and other fees. You're looking at at least $7,000 for two weeks plus mileage.

Yikes, gotta assume that's COVID inflated this year, like rental cars in some places.

Slow night. Everyone must be planning a road trip.

Think I'll hit I-75 S this weekend. :bday:
