Checkpoint is gravel - slower/more stable geometry, more tire clearance (in UCI races, CX is limited to 33mm or something like that), has IsoSpeed front and rear, and more mounts for ADVENTURE!!!!
Boone and Crockett are both CX; Boone is CF and Crockett is Al. How could I forget Ritchey Swiss Cross. I need some lottery tickets. Yea after I posted the boone, carbon doesn’t sound like a good idea. I can’t seem to stay on my bike when obstacles are not involved. |

Ill ask, cross would be next fall, there’s no way I would try it this season. Plus I don’t have a bike.

Are you also looking at road racing? That's all encompassing including road, crit, circuit, hill climbs and TT's.

Yea I want to do crits and circuits. The race team does a lot of cycle cross too, and that looks like a lot of fun. |
My friend was California/Nevada CX champ for her cat one year, I think cat3. She used a Redline.

I did not ride today, as promised. Oh well. I spent a lazy morning with the dogs, before going off on a lunch date. Tomorrow I pick the wife up from the airport, after doing a little shopping. Today's drive to the lunch date was the first time the car has been touched since returning from the airport two weeks ago. Beginning Tuesday it will be used almost daily again. But not by me.

Nope. Took them myself. With my very own camera even, and not a cell phone camera. In my back yard nonetheless.

I'm watching The Football Team visit Lambeau Field, hoping it starts to snow, but it's probably not cold enough.

Spoke with my sis. She had just gotten up from a nap. She sounded drowsy. Not sure if it was from the nap, the medication or after effects of seizure. I don't think it was from the nap and I didn't think the medication would cause drowsiness but I hope it isn't after effects unless it's normal. She also was kind of in denial blaming Asian food and a movie with flashing lights as a possible cause. It's sounds crazy but no one wants to admit they went non linear - it has to be something else.
Then I called my brother who is recovering from prostate surgery. At no point did I tell them to HTFU. #NotACaringNurturer |
