Sad. I used to live in a development with tons of kids. Halloween was so much fun watching your child and all the kids enjoy this unique holiday.

Your D was good against the run but a little lacking against the pass.

We had a 6-pack of full size Hershey's with almonds. Early birds also had the option of full size Almond Joys or Hot Wheels.

Ramona doled out several handfuls of Hershey's Kisses also.

What do you do when they are in the middle of your path?

Depends:
1. haul ass and hold my breath as I fly by
2. Stop and stomp the ground and/or throw rocks to entice 'em to move
3. scream like a little girl and go back to where I came from

We've got signs up at a couple of trailheads around here.

I reckon they must have Prairie Rattlesnakes up on the Mickelson

Experience. I've fed horses apples, carrots, hay, whole oats with vitamins mixed in. I tasted a couple of the oats, and I tell you what, whole, uncooked oats have serious roughage.

so, apples fed to horses begats road apples as I'm understanding you?

Did you wave?

Dunno what time it was, approx 15 minutes after Ramona went out there with the big bowl of candy. Must've been 6-ish, maybe quarter after?

I went out there for a couple of minutes for support, but I got bored and there was baseball and football on the TV.

Nearly rode over this young one on the Lehigh Gorge Trail. Didn’t see it. The ex did and mentioned it. Went back for a photo.

Roughly 25 years ago.

It's the developments around here that get the kid traffic. When The Boys were little, the city used to do "Safe Streets", where they blocked off traffic into one of those developments where there are only two streets into it, neither one a main drag. Local companies would sponsor, and decorate a house, and provide the candy, and all the homeowners had to do was sit back and let somebody else give out. There would be hundreds of people there, so everyone just walked in the streets.

I don't know if they're still doing that, but our street would be the last place you'd do Safe Streets in our town.

It was a total ****show and the game, as a whole, says more about the Vikings coaching than it does anything else (Cowboys included). We have the personnel to contend for a title, but we have a play-calling philosophy that belongs in the 80s.

People say there are rattlesnakes in the nearby southern Appalachians, but I've never seen one. :foo:

I wasn't sure if Cousins was that bad or if there just wasn't any communication or what was going on.

Higher population density + lower traffic density. Oh, and speed bumps.
