Is there an invisible image here? Big blank space usually indicates such.

And a gear complaint: The Conti GP 4 Season tires I've got on the commuter are pretty fast and bullet proof, but the rear wheel is starting to lock up up with even moderately hard braking now. I assume this is due to hardening of the rubber with age (like boat shoes, which generally have to be retired to street wear after two years, another pet peeve).

I hate shoaling, especially when I am faster than the person who pulls in front of me at the red light. Now I have to pass them all over again in a bike lane that's not really wide enough for two bikes.

Speaking of Tyre Humidors, I have one too and I just checked and I am down to 3 Conti GP4000s, two of which will go on the new wheels for the upgraded Habanero.
So I will be looking at buying some GP5000s in the next several months. A few years ago PBK was the "it" place to get good prices reliably. What's the latest thought? |
I can only relate to the last one of the icebike things. The guy I used to ride with never even brought a pump. Tools just weren't on his radar.
O,h, and getting passed by basket in front. The rest I've never heard of nor seen. #thirdworldcycling |
My tyre humidor is full to overflowing. I guess I just don't ride enough. I am so ******g busy with other ****. Country life.

It's not the tire's fault. Check the brakes.

Hydro disc. Good pads. Feels normal with no squeal or chatter. What else to check?
