Velo Vol 07-03-20 07:40 PM

I'm giving some of the random people on the fly-bys kudos. Seeing how long it will be before someone responds. One person is a repeat from yesterday.

On a ride a few weeks ago I encountered the same people twice about 30 miles apart. I guess we were doing the same loop.

It just doesn't look as good on an aero frame.

This was two separate activities--a morning and evening one, near where I live.

https://shop-us.ismseat.com/

Co worker swears by them, look kind of unique.

They were a big hit with triathletes a few years ago. Our remaining stock is collecting dust, now that triathlon's popularity has waned around here.

Why don't you do that here?? Odds are 100% that riding is better in the foothills. SMH.

I have it on my TT bike now, after turfing the Fizik Kium. After a while, I was back to being able to use any old saddle, which is why I went with looks instead of function on the road bikes.

Ditto

You can double your miles if you run it on your Garmin AND your phone. :)

What happened? Have the lakes remained frozen this year?

LesterOfPuppets 07-03-20 08:15 PM

Got an invite for MTB group ride Sunday.

Should I say "I'll go but no one is allowed to pass me.". ???

A frozen lake sounds so good right now. Super hot and humid days yesterday and today.

I know it's literally illegal to do, but he says that he's scared of getting hit from behind.

Today I saw he rode down the wrong side of a busy 55mph road :twitchy:

explain closing speed to him and the difference in impact speeds.
car 60 mph, you wrong side 15 mph =75 mph impact.
Car 60 mph you with traffic 15 mph =45 mph impact

Today’s ride is postponed. Gonna go have a driveway visit with my parents. Initial plan was to ride this morning and go to NJ in the afternoon but now going early because summer heat.

Just about everywhere, honestly.

Is that because COVID19 or has Tri jumped the shark?

I'm pretty sure a 45 mph impact would be really bad, too.

The main benefit is the driver has more time to see you and avoid the impact.

I havnt had a knoxville overnight in a while. Plus my control of where I spend my nights is very very limited.

Got some closeouts for a rider with good birthing hips? Asking for a friend.

:innocent:

bampilot06 07-04-20 06:47 AM

This morning ride went better than the last time I rode after a long ride. Legs had power, and my body didnít feel fatigued. My arse was just killing me, I had to keep standing up to take the pressure off of it. I was wearing my worst pair of bibs, but itís never hurt that bad.
My pinky and ring finger in my left hand have become useless. I couldnít open my sun glasses or get my phone out of my pocket while ai was riding. Itís not like I am left handed or anything. :notamused:

Yíall wizards got any magic to combat this or do I need to HTFU and learn how to write with my right hand?
