I can't quite remember the size, but we have a really lovely Time Urbain in the shop that would fit that role nicely. It's even 11 speed Shimano! ;)
*edit* found a real(ly kind of bad) picture: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...a3d4183523.jpg |

Unfortunately the college football Game of the Day is on ESPN. Cord cutters lament.

I cannot abide by that stem.

Reading online sounds like it’s pretty common, when you have upped the intensity and or miles. My cadence on the trainer tends to be at a lower rpm, and harder gearing.
Im hoping it feels better in the morning but I don’t think it will. Also might have to raise my stem up for the time being. I like the position but the article said too low of a stem can lead to knee pain. |

The classic, really rough rule of thumb is: - pain in the back of the knee, saddle too high - pain in the front, saddle too low Of course there are a million different factors, cleat position, cleat rotation, cleat float, saddle fore/aft ... |

I hadn't heard of bar height creating knee problems, I guess anything is possible.

I’ve heard that as well but Im pretty sure with the amount of miles I have done this year my saddle height is fine. Lowering the stem and cause lower back muscles to fatigue which your body compensates and it puts more pressure on the knees. This is the most i’ve ridden this bike since I dropped the stem, so It’s a possibility. Prolly just over training. |
I tried a different sort of race on Zwift. EVR America West, which is "Escape Velocity Race" run in different time zones. It was the only race that started anywhere close to 6 PM PST. I signed up for the D's, where I apparently won, according to ZwiftPower, or came in 3rd, according to the Companion App. The former shows a field of 3, the latter a field of 8. I think the two guys who are first and second on the Companion App weren't wearing HRMs, so they don't count.
I'm not sure how much harder I could have gone. It was an hour long race, but most of it (75%) I was at Z1-Z3. |
Since we are all about indoor training/Zwift/trainers/yada/yada/yada, I'm exceptionally sore after 3-4 rides lately. I figure that it must be the relentlessness of not being able to coast, minimal position changes, etc. Also, I have a bike on the trainer that I don't ride much so that could be some of it, too. Regardless, I'm sore and achy and I'm doing sessions under an hour with climbing and intensity that's way less than most of y'all.
Anyway, I'll be glad to get back outside when the weather abates a little. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...0b7d68226.jpeg |

Left knee is starting to hurt when I pedal. I adjusted cleat position helped a little bit. Almost feels like something is rubbing……
Should I ice it? |

I dunno man, I do have options ... I guess the soccer wraps up before the Vols game will, so I can watch the 4th quarter - best of both worlds.

We had some time to kill before dinner last night and wandered into Mellow Johnny’s. Nice store with an army of friendly staff. I saw some winter gloves I liked, but didn’t buy. Visit was cut short by desire of family to go to a bar. Animals.

Going against reason, I picked your Vols to beat the Dawgs, by a touchdown! https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...eb71342cee.png |
Gonna try to sneak a ride in between the raindrops.

Thats part of what I really like. And the color. I’d trade my Sirius for it in a heartbeat.
But yeah, I like the stem, too - paint-matched is always a big bonus. |

Abshipp might have to post the size and cost including shipping to his old stomping grounds.
