How was the supply stock? The one by me didn’t have much left since it was changing hands.

I know - meant that figuratively. Even so, would probably dig deep and do it. The thing has character.

I approve.

Enabling in Addiction - shocking, I know. :p

Seemed okay, but I didn’t look at much.

That store is probably the most well stocked bike store I’ve ever been in.

That’s Lance’s joint, isn’t it? :innocent:

Yeah. No burning desire to put money in his pocket.

Yes. We rented bikes there last time we were in Austin. Not many other options. I’m not a Lance fan.

BillyD 11-13-21 09:32 AM

Yeah, I wasn’t sure anyone wanted to be reminded of that.

LesterOfPuppets 11-13-21 09:47 AM

Just what I always wanted. I wonder if they're big enough to hold a can of beer? :)

I think that they'd want a few thousand in addition to your Sirius.

But yeah, I like the stem, too - paint-matched is always a big bonus.

Those stems are frighteningly light, too. But in a good way

I think it's 52cm-ish. Pretty little. Price and stuff we should talk on a PM f you want :thumb:

FWIW I can't find it exactly bit I want to say that bike is $3-4k.
Size feels 52-ish.

Dang, too small. ☹️

Just change the wire out to a longer length. Walah!

They are NOT going to move the road for cyclists.

I wonder if they might build a short section "bike path" that goes wide of the road and comes across perpendicular, on each side, though. Hmmm.....

Thjere is one of those where I ride in Harrisonburg Va.

Left knee is starting to hurt when I pedal. I adjusted cleat position helped a little bit. Almost feels like something is rubbing……

Should I ice it?

Perhaps this is the source of the noise.

I figure that it must be the relentlessness of not being able to coast, minimal position changes, etc. Also, I have a bike on the trainer that I don't ride much so that could be some of it, too. Regardless, I'm sore and achy and I'm doing sessions under an hour with climbing and intensity that's way less than most of y'all.

Anyway, I'll be glad to get back outside when the weather abates a little.

I wondered what had become of that blue Giant

I'll actually measure it on Monday ;)

Zwift is just trying to piss me off this morning.

I'm looking to complete some ride maps for bonus XP, so I decided to do Everything Bagel, the longest NYC map. About 20 min in, and with close to half of the climbing out of the way, something ***** the bed and I lose HR and Power shortly before the desktop app shuts down. No map completion for me.

I didn't feel like restarting EB, so I went to Makuri Islands. I completed one course there, while chatting with a buddy. Started on another course and, about 15 min from the end, Zwift interrupts and ends my ride with a "Hey - your subscription just ended." :notamused:

Awesome timing.

'Great Expectations' in the vault. Great read. Moving on to 'A Tale of Two Cities'. I'm glad I found Dickens when I did.

There was one in Portland that I only used once. Coming in from the right it takes you under three trees, then a SUPER tight chicane across the tracks.

I decided I preferred taking my chances on the tracks over slowing down to make those turns.

Perfect fall morning for a ride. 45°, light winds, and not a cloud in the sky :)

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Hey Velo Vol there is a “Brass Ensembles” concert at my daughter’s university tomorrow evening. Program below. I believe it is live streamed, but we will don our masks and hear it in person.

My friends and I did a short ride to beat the rain. We succeeded!

Today is the first anniversary of me losing consciousness on the sidewalk and fracturing my thumb. It was Friday the 13th.

There is nothing like Dickens on audio with a good reader!
