Maybe another latte will bring more insight.

Lately when I feel like that I go to the bike path in the neighboring valley. I don't have to climb anything and there are no cars. I also don't have to chase anyone but sometimes the primal urge is too great to resist.

I'll probably go there this morning.

Yes it is.

I wish I could run. I would do it right now.

I tried carrying a bottle in my pocket but it's annoying even when empty. To me, the best compromise if I need extra water is a 70 oz Camelbak. I don't use it often these days and many roadies scoff but it works.

Yep. I tried in the jersey too, and I don't like it. I have a Camelback that turned into a commuter backpack because it just caused me to sweat too much, and I don't perspire a ton. We'll see how these go.

Supposed to be 92 here today but it may get down into the mid 70s next week. Winter is canceled.

Oof, I uncovered a check dated 05/07 that I had not deposited. Just did so. What's going to happen?

(1) It will clear

(2) It will not clear

No bears. But they do not do much to discourage sexual assaults.

Not P&R, just facts

I haven't paid attention to what's happening there. Similar to the allegations against Liberty U?

Either way, there's a bigger discussion that could be had about larger Christian institutions these days, and some of it's not good.

Agreed.

Google "Pepper Hamilton" and "Baylor."

it's friken snowing here today. The suck is real.

We had a good ride. Start temps right around freezing but warmed up to 40-ish for most of the ride. The pace and company were perfect. Beats the trainer (or running) by lots.

bampilot06 11-14-21 01:26 PM

adjusted cleats, raised the seat 3 mm. Seemed like that took the pressure off the front of my knee.

Rode about 7 miles and stopped. Discomfort was present, but it wasn’t the pain that was there before. Going to try really hard and not touch my bike for 2 days.

Was able to figure out my legs in the sim. No pain at all today, and it was engine failure day so legs were used a lot.

if May 2007 it won't clear. If 5/7/2021 it will probably clear.

We've had snow on the ground (well, the grassy, earthen bits, anyway) for the last 24 hours.

WhyFi 11-14-21 02:14 PM

After a few days of intermittent problems with Zwift, I did a little bit of lookin' online and decided that it might be best to fix my Bluetooth issues with the PC rather than complicate things with the continued Band-Aid approach with the Companion App. I updated this, downloaded drivers for that and.... everything worked smoothly for the fake ride. So I got that goin' fer me, which is nice.

WhyFi 11-14-21 02:27 PM

Oh, and the NYC maps must be the dumbest in all of Zwiftlandia. I mean, flying taxis and soaring glass skyways for the exclusive use of cyclists and runners? And said skyways routinely see grades of 15%+? Dumb. NYC could be interesting enough without the poorly executed sci-fi landscape.
