I think this therapist is going to work out 😜
Dealing with some truly cruddy family stuff and decided to seek out some help. Hanging on his office wall is an all chrome Bianchi Pista. Now I'm optimistic some head shrinking plus fancy new shoes is really going to help. 😀
I've witnessed the wonders accomplished by suede Jimmy Choo pumps, so... https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...ce715cc91d.jpg |

wonderful
good luck! |
Every time my head shrinks,....my feet swell.
Good luck getting that chrome Bianchi Pista. I prefer Jimmy's purple over suede. :thumb: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...5faf3c66c3.jpg |

Men will literally buy fancy bike shoes instead of going to therapy.
Not @BTinNYC, of course. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...a537eec827.jpg |
Having visited this thread a couple of times and while purple pumps (on the right pair of legs) might be spicy and the cycling shoes supple perfection - the only vision haunting me is unhanging that chrome Bianchi Pista.
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...78b4359a5a.jpg forgiving the pedals, and valve stem 1/4 revolution short of perfection (either way). :twitchy: |
So if Pistas were for twentysomethings fifteen years ago does that mean your therapist is a millennial?

A comfortable pair of hiking shoes, put to use their intended way, isn't therapy but is, I think, therapeutic.
Cycling takes longer, for me. I find it's good for my mental health, but takes a good 40 miles before things shake out. Which is why randonneuring is such a great fit for me - 40 miles to become human, then a hundred or six to enjoy life. |
Own those shoes in black. For hot summer days, no more “hot foot”. Love ‘em

My folks sent me this a few years ago:

Here's the story behind getting shrunk.
For the last 4 months I've been medical and durable power of attorney for my Mom, who began a series of catastrophic medical events last December. She passed away last week, and it's absolutely a relief. I was making the DNI/DNR protocols at each step, and an intimate witness to the chain of systemic failures knocking this vital woman around. In October she was touring Lisbon by herself for architecture and food. Whoosh. I learned; in cases like this there are no right decisions, and the immense scale of the medical business/technology/bureaucracy. $1.2M to Medicare and insurance. Thank you for the forum for a place to vent. All good, BT |

Then she was ill for a few months and then gone. My mother in law died just a few week ago, after about a dozen years of steep mental decline. These last few years, she didn't recognize her own children. |

HAVE to agree about how super they are on the hamster wheel. That’s where I use them in the winter and my more closed Specialized shoes with toe covers for riding outside. Soon they will switch roles.

OP....Nice. There is nothing like Cycle Therapy.
