This one doesn't count, obviously.

We learned more about how Bishop Sycamore ended up playing on ESPN, and it’s only getting shadier

Its getting even better. In a retro, hipster kind of way.

There's locally roasted organic single origin fair trade coffee in my mug and a messenger bag in my rack. :)

I should ask him how this will affect his apple crop, which was looking pretty good then. I know that if there's a lot of rain close to cherry harvest it's bad, because they swell up and split, but apples aren't cherries.

I have a friend in Tower City in Schuylkill County. He’s got about 40” of water in his basement.

I know flood prone areas very flooded. We got 6 inches in 2 hours (TWSS), luckily our house is on a bit of a rise so we are fine.

No putting Jacqueline in the dungeon tonight.

I had enough with innovations specifically from Canyon - hate the press-fit bottom bracket, stupid headset and other crap. I remember being very happy with steel, aluminum and even titanium bikes.

LesterOfPuppets 09-01-21 08:06 PM

I should see if I can figure out how to do this this weekend.

Velo Vol 09-01-21 08:20 PM

Seems a bit steep.

Well I guess I'm going to have to go get this bike that's too big for me. Only $100, so I can't say no any longer.

I think it looks pretty good. My recently retired LBS guy was a regional rep for Nishiki bitd. He had some NOS frames in storage, that's where I got my first touring bike, a Nishiki Seral. I also got 2 Nishiki mountain bike frames from him including a Colorado that I really liked. I was sad when it broke.

Mine looked like this but much nicer condition.

Made from a teaspoon, it looks like.

For fun I went looking back to see how far I've ridden over the years. Since Jan 2007 I've ridden over 54,200km. There were a couple of years when I didn't bother keeping any records. I guess I'm not a serious cyclist.

The major roads into center city from the west are closed due to flooding, and the Schuylkill River is still rising.

Went another round of lawn seeding/repair. 4th attempt. I decided to try some fertalizer with it this time. Then I got a real wild hair and decided to do a round of weed and feed on the rest of the lawn. Way to many weeds. Read multiple bags of product. And some how ended up with 2 bags of straight fertilizer. My dandalion patch is going to be incredible next spring. I should just set the lawn on fire. Put it out of its misery

Schools here are closed. I am heading in to work soon. Luckily I am a good swimmer.

Been there, not 40", but 12.

Remember, if there is water on the road, turn around, don't drown. Seriously.

If you set it on fire now, the ground will be ripe for growing next season.
