Note how the various rims — silver box, dark/black deeper section, tubular or clincher, spokes few or abundant — all look just great with that bike.

I ride that bike more than I ride the others, it's my favorite. The stem is a Nitto Dynamic II, zero degree, 120mm length. The bars are Soma Highway Ones @ 42 C to C, 130 drop & 75 reach. Below is a graphic of the difference between a zero degree stem and a common (for the day) -17 degree stem.

just for fun... a couple of photos from the 1982 edition of the Iron Horse Classic race in Durango, Colorado. A buddy and some of his friends were racing as Cat 3's, and I was just along for the fun of it.
There were a lot of the nation's top racers there, including some from the 7-11 team. When I look closely at the photos, it appears that they are riding Rossin bikes. https://live.staticflickr.com/5097/5...f79274_c_d.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/5057/5...ed18c0_c_d.jpg side note: since this was 1982, the photography was done with a very vintage Canon 35mm SLR with Kodak film.
