First, kudos to all the hard work our Parks and Rec folks have done to repair most of the damage that flooding streams did to our local trail system!
I did 27 miles today on a surprisingly cloudy and cool morning. Otto |
15 miles 1450 ft of gain...

100 Miles O.D.

32 miles with 1800’ climbing to run an errand. New sandals.

127 Miles O.D. Rain is forecasted again & I had to up the distance. Was shocked to find another rider getting out there at the same time. Rode thru some rough surface conditions & not one flat! Pirelli FTW!

If you don't mind my asking: How many miles do you average in a week? I am impressed.

About 16 miles. I managed to ride almost exactly all of the time it rained during the day. Weather app said I probably had time to get in a ride before it rained, but it turned out to be wrong. Actually delightful other than having waterlogged shoes.

50.4 outside. I left late today and I feared brutal heat and humidity, but the weather gods took pity on me, and brought in some clouds and a light cool breeze to keep the temps in the 80's and no blazing morning sun.

28 easy squeezy miles nurturing an injury. Might be a long summer with short distances.

You really need to dial your mileage back. You are making the rest of us look like the slackers we actually are.

119 yesterday. Wanted more, but I guess I’m not acclimated to the heat as well as I thought.

Did a quick 22 miles, want to watch the mountain stage starting now.
Saved this guy who was almost up on the railroad tracks. No traffic out here in the country but the train was stopped about 500 yards away and was probably going to take off shortly. https://i.postimg.cc/wjHBd4W4/20210711-071410.jpg |

58 miles and 4,850 ft from Idaho Springs, CO to the top of Loveland Pass. Beautiful scenery!

27 Miles O.D.

Home elevation is 0 feet, and there is no elevation change. I rode 60 miles today at elevations over 10,000 feet and 3500 of elevation gain. The terrain varied from tarmac to dirt roads to rough, rocky roads. My legs are lead and my butt hurts. The scenery was fantastic. Lunch with my wife after the ride was just what I needed.
