I bought a bunch of liquor at the beginning of this pandemic. Might as well.
Favorite drink of the pandemic is the spicy pineapple margarita. 1. Make a Pineapple Sour Mix: 1/2 cup freshly squeezed pineapple juice, and 1/4 cup each lemon juice, lime juice and sugar. 2. Rub the rim of your glass with lime and roll in homemade sriracha salt, garnish with lime and jalapeño wheels, fill glass with crushed ice 3. Fill cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice. Throw in a couple slices jalapeño. Add 1oz each tequila and Grand Marnier and 2 oz Pineapple Sour Mix. Shake until shaker is frosty. 4. Strain into prepared glass. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...a509699c4.jpeg |

No, really. I like to build stuff, and weld things.
Really, what are you going to weld, I ask. ”Plenty of stuff,” he says. |

Evidence that I kind of know what I'm doing:
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...b81bc2f7a0.jpg About ~1900g for the set, sans time tape and skewers. Not light by any means, but they should be solid. I think I should start building lower spoke count wheels. These 36°ers take so much time to lace and tension. |

And with straight-gauge spokes! No wonder they're on the portly side, but you should have no fear bashing them into anything. And great job; they look well-made. :thumb:
AG had a set laced by a friend with the valve between spokes that crossed closest to the rim... :twitchy: The spokes are butted, but it's pretty subtle at 2.0/1.8/2.0 mm. We'll make a judgment about how well they are actually put together once they're underneath my fat ass  |
Also, Bah Humbug you're an absolute legend. Thank you so much, again, I can't wait to throw these on my Trek

How long did it take you to build the set?
