Oooh - was he a close-talker, too? A close-talkin', spittle-flecker is just the *best* combination.

Cuddebackville is indeed that.
Have you ever been down U.S. 209 to Port Jervis? Not much there anymore, but if you cross the Delaware into Matamorras, PA there is all sorts of commerce. Two big things are cigarette outlets and gas stations. Guess that's driven by NY taxes being higher. |
When you're a former cyclist zero fly by's are built into the equation. Sad.

Uncontrollable talkers are particularly difficult on offshore races. Feeling your ass go numb and checking your watch every three minutes in the wet, windy, darkness is bad enough, but a garrulous mate going on and on about his wife's car insurance in the middle of the goddamn ocean can turn it into bizarre and exquisite torture.

Wow, a tent spot at area KOA is a ripoff, especially in October

https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...3bd86c0755.png I have a reservation at one in Westhampton, MA for 9/17. $55, including tax, but the site has a raised pea gravel tent pad, electricity and private water tap. |

Do like they do in Austin - just camp on the side of the road. Especially in dense urban areas.

No, I mean I am often that guy in person. I am better than I used to be, but reading social cues is still a daily challenge.

Re: word vomit or verbal diarrhea, I call it verbal piñata. You break the seal, the words have to come out. It’s much like… was it Luis? in Ant-Man described as “you put the coin in the jukebox, you gotta let the song play”. |

…and it seems Boulder is back on the menu for moving destination. Still have to see how AG’s job situation turns out.

Why would anyone camp in January? Crazy.
Camping season is April - October, max. |

It's already underway. I was doing this this afternoon. I wish I was joking. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...a98045fcee.png |
