I want to thank all you all for the kind wishes and prayers for my Dad. He is starting chemo soon. 2 types actually. He has Lukemia. So no back surgery. According to mom they are experimenting on him with the chemo they are trying. They moved him to the Cancer ward yesterday. At least his new room doesn't smell like Urine like the old one. Yuk. Again Thank you. Mom is doing well, holding things together so far but they both kinda have a resigned, going through the motions attitude about things. |
Swapped stem caps, and added a spacer. Spacer wasn’t necessary, fork had clearance but just wanted to be sure.
Play is still there. If I get a moment today I’m going to take it apart. Add grease and repeat. My eyes might be playing tricks on me, but it looks like the top bearings might not be seat correctly and that might be the problem. The Bearings cap looks like it might not be equal distance all away around. If that doesn’t fix it then off to the bike shop I go. Will prolly just have them cut the steerer tube while they are at it. |

I have a cherry tree in my front yard. It’s pretty large, never seen a cherry though.
Now that I think about it, I don’t even really know if it is a cherry tree. |
The bike valet did his thing this morning. Got to the wife's favorite ride start, and a 20% chance of rain turned into a 100% chance.

Just learned that older athletes experience less thirst during dehydration. That would be me on the last two Saturday rides.

Having Zwifted yesterday because of possible smokeout today, the AQI is moderate all down the Peninsula. <100 over the whole Peninsula, and <60 almost everywhere I'd ride.

Must be a 65 thing, because I still get real thirsty when on my way to dehydration.

No ladder required. 10 foot pole gets most of it.

I was riding by an RV dealership this morning and a loud speaker blares out: "You are trespassing on private property. Your actions are being recorded . . ."
Either it was an odd coincidence that I just happened to be passing when a trespasser was sneaking around inside, or else the announcement was directed at me. :foo: [I was properly riding on the road, obviously.] |
