Fun fact: I rode by the Colonial terminal and gas tankers are still doing their thing.

Extended Colonial shutdowns can shift our prices, but of greater concern re Ida was the possible shutdowns of all the gasoline facilities from Mobile to Galveston.

Seems like initial reports indicate we dodged that bullet.

Katrina was the spike before 2006, which, at the time, was 50+ cents a gallon more than anything we'd had before.
