Assuming BI is business intelligence. If so, in my experience that is an oxymoron. Good luck nevertheless. Downtown Pittsburgh or the burbs?

Maybe BI means blissfully ignorant. :foo:

Mmmmm. I haven't had a porto since the '90s, back when a friend was a wine guy and I could get wholesale prices.

They were doing it wrong. Yes, downtown.

Such a fine bicycle!

They're owned by American Bicycle Group which also owns Litespeed.

cool thanks for the info.

Def. will keep it in my back pocket. The geometry is a little weird, but I should be able to make it work.

The color options are pretty sweet too.

looking like bringing the ritchey to dallas isnít going to work. This area isnít too safe, and the service road is super super sketchy.

It would prolly be fine early in the morning, only issue is if I get a flat or anything goes wrong I would be late to class. So if I ride after class itís rush hour. Just walked down the road and almost got hitÖ..

Riding at night is not an option due to the possibility of a GSW or worse.

They did have a nice share the road signÖÖ.

.

I'm often tempted by QR tri bikes on CL.

I sometimes even think about this frame for $190, but

1. 650c
2. Alu
3. 51cm only, which would certainly make me very aero, but also slightly hurty

Ugh, I have so much farther to travel for this one now! Definitely one I will try and chase totality.

Don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but Mrs. abshipp agreed to marry me the night before we watched the 2017 eclipse in northern MO.

One of the best weekends of my life. We had clear skies and totality for 2.5 minutes or so.

Absolutely surreal.

That's not the part of town where you have to worry about GSW. South of Dallas is a whole notha matter.

I am in irving. I thought that was south.

Velo Vol 09-23-21 06:56 PM

Whew, close call on the lawn!

I was on the tractor and went over a yellow jacket's nest. Now, if you're going fast enough, at the right time, the first time by/over might be OK, as my drive-by was.

It's the second time, when they're all riled up, that's bad news.

Fortunately I saw some a yard or so before the danger zone. There were like 15 buzzing around low near the nest, plus more going in and out.

Could easily have been an ouchie evening for Velo Vol.

Irving is north. Irving is pretty safe. Other than traffic. Check out the Las Colinas area in Irving.

rjones28, would you care to answer DougRNS's question?

I'm pretty sure I didn't ask if you have "a thing"*, it was more like do you have a strategic alliance.
