Sad... I happened to find the power consumption of that TV. SDR 360w, HDR 520w. No effing way I'm running that outside of Alaska. Emailed about returning (hasn't been delivered yet) and back to the drawing board.

I've been signing up for challenges on Strava. Back in June I signed up for a LeCol challenge, and ended up with a $60 discount, so I used it to buy one of their Pro jerseys. I checked the size, and got an XL. It definitely qualifies for the "If it zips, it fits" category - it's snug! Like paint! On the bike it's not a problem, but when I got back on Sunday after wearing it for my long ride, I was sitting there feeling like maybe my breathing was constricted a little - then I unzipped it and it was fine! So, maybe just a bit small. Though, again, it felt fine on the bike. Definitely doesn't flap!
OTOH, Mrs. GeneJockey likes how I look in it, so I'm keeping it! I used the July challenge discount to buy a long sleeve Pro jersey, but this one I bought in XXL. I figure a base layer might make the XL unzippable! |

Did my time this weekend. Got my discount. Ordered a Pro II jersey in sage green. It will pair nicely with the grey bibs I have on the way from Neopro. If Le Col does these discounts on a regular basis, I expect to have more of their in my pile.

 We haven’t even noticed an increase from charging the car. Or, get the 77” OLED. HDR power consumption is only 210 kWh/1000h |

My latest jersey purchase was dayglo green, so I wouldn't blend into the background. I don't want to give anyone who might knock me down the excuse of saying they didn't see me. Sage green and grey go in direct opposition to that premise. Do you have other means of being seen?

The jersey will be used on my MTB, mostly. Also, most of my road miles are with groups of 10+ riders, so not being seen isn’t a big issue. I have a variety of options for different situations.

She's like that, too. She even uses sunscreen under her jersey. Lately she's been covering her lips while riding because they got burned. I knew this guy who constructed a cardboard shield for his nose and attached it to his sunglasses.

That dman cop thinking I was smuggling weeeeeed got me so traumatized I had two nightmares last night. At least that meant I ripped the cranks off my trainer and PRed a Tacx course. |

I did get a bit of a burn on my neck. Then I went and got my hair cut, and of course the stylist used the clippers to get rid of my Old Guy Neck Fuzz, the stubble from which is now conspiring with the sunburn to drive me mad.

I get the Old Guy Neck Fuzz, usually an inch long by the time I get a haircut. Also get obnoxiously long ear hair if I don't trim it and Andy Rooney eyebrows.

The dew point at 4:30 this morning was 75. Went out back with my coffee and instantly started sticking to myself. Heat index tomorrow could hit 106. But Canadian air is coming to the rescue starting Wednesday.

I'm in EP right now, and it's a lovely, rainy evening. One of the first sights I saw was a guy in a cowboy hat, riding a segway, and carrying a Chihuahua - EP trying to outweird Austin :)
