It was overcast so I finally got a chance to try out the black background on the new Karoo - the display on this thing is really something

17 miles! First normal ride since I took a tumble two and a half weeks ago. My hip didn’t hurt at all for most of the ride and only a few twinges on the climbs at the end of the ride. 👍

Can’t make the early Saturday morning ride so I road the route from my house. 64.4 miles. Longest ride in years. Nice and sunny with temperatures around 75 F. Sure beats 96 F and high humidity we’ve been having over the summer. Sooo much less sweat in my eyes.

rsbob 09-04-21 07:15 PM

For the 7th day in a row, zero, zilch, nada, goose egg and bagel. Have a miserable cold which I just can’t shake (not COVID). Probably a few more days to go since I have a fever.

Sorry to hear you are in the same boat. Sucks to watch fitness melt away while not being out there.

kahn 09-05-21 09:31 AM

Sept 4: 15.5 and 700 gain. A moody day over the Olympic Mountains.

You can adjust it to display pretty much anything you want. There's a whole host of options starting at direct power (which is what I have the one scale set to that shows your power zones by color) then there is 3, 5 10, 30 second power, 20 min, 1 hr average, Normalized Power, Average Power etc...
