Summer bike trainer
 

Earlier I tried rollers and it wasn't for me. I picked up this mag trainer for $20, I figure it'll be a good way to get some miles in while the desert heat is here.
It will be moved inside near the treadmill and I'll pedal :giver: while my wife walks.

p.s.: some would consider a Mustang and Camaro sharing the same garage as criminal. :D

Even in an air conditioned space, you're going to want a fan. A big one. Two big ones, if possible.

If you have a computer (or TV and apple TV) nearby, give Zwift a try. It's addictive and definitely makes riding while staring at a wall go much, much faster.

Yeah, a fan or two is necessary, no question. As is something to eliminate the boredom of spinning indoors. In a garage.

And the two pony cars seem to be getting along OK.

It's a 25" frame. I'm 6 ft and 32" inseam. It is at the max limit for frame size but I like the larger, roomier frame. Plus, it was an inexpensive purchase.

As far as the cars, The 89 Mustang GT 5.0 is my wife's and the 70 Camaro is mine. I'd gladly add a classic Mopar if there was room ;).
At one time the Camaro lived outside and Mustangs owned the garage. I had an 89 LX 5.0 Convertible, It was sold to get a Ford Explorer.

These wheel on trainers eat they tires. Used one 25 years ago. I have advance to all the various trainers thru the years. I now ride a kicker bike everyday. 20 miles every day.

I'm not sure how well a 7-speed transmission would work with a direct drive trainer. You'd have to find a 7 speed cassette that you could fit on it.

I'm still trying to figure out what kind of wheels have upper screws.
