Unusual road signs.

I know there was a thread dedicated to signs for bike trails, but how about one for slightly unusual road signs. I don't know how unusual this one actually is, but it's not one I recall ever seeing. This is around Pueblo, Colorado, in the "foothills" of the Rockies. 🙂

Likely the crest of the hill blocks the view to the other side. There was just an piece on this on the national news about a hill in San Fransisco where GPS apps arr routing people down the street.

This is a welcome site when you are on a bicycle. ;) Really unnerving when you see the entering one. ;)

Good sign, it would seem obvious but I see that most drivers don't really slow up going over a hill crest. I don't have pics but there's a couple local road signs noting speed for upcoming curves but it's the same speed as previous speed limit.

Not unusual if it were the US But this is in Cologne, Italy. Apparently the Italians loved Kennedy.

Not a sign but a traffic signal in Italy. Brescia if I recall correctly.

Seinfeld fans anyone? I think this was in Pavia. OK not not a road sign but still funny if you are a Seinfield fan

On the South Santiam Hwy in the Oregon Cascades, there's a set of warning ahead signs that threw me for a loop the first time I rode it.

On an arduous climb towards Tombstone Summit, a large sign states: " 1rst warning, 11 miles, 6% downgrade ahead." A good distance further up the climb is a similar sign, "2nd warning, 11 miles, 6% downgrade ahead." Further ahead there's another: "3rd warning, 11 miles, 6% downgrade ahead". At the third sign, I assumed I had seen the last warning and I must be very near the top. (I was very much ready to be done with climbing for awhile.) I climbed a while longer expecting to see the top, went around a corner and saw a sign: "Last warning, 11 miles, 6% downgrade ahead." That last sign about deflated whatever hope I had of ever seeing the top of this climb anytime soon. The 11 miles of 6% descent was a nice break though once I finally made it to the top.

On another note, a sign in a housing track near my house states, "Speed Hump Ahead".

Good one. I've seen several of those along the coast, between California, Oregon, and Washington state. 👍

Instant classic. That'd look right at home in any good bar. 😁
