In other fatbike news, just ordered some hubs to build up a wheelset for running some 27.5 x 2.3" slicks. Already got the rims...

I was thinking of doing some work on my fatbike today (chopping the steerer and lubing chain) but it's 120°+ in the garage right now and it's not supposed to drop below 100° outside 'til 11pm or so.

Speaking of which, generic V isn't covered so the nurse's plan B is naproxen + esomeprazole. Is that a sensible solution, given my daily prednisone? |
fun fact: No school I attended ever had air conditioning until high school and then it was just one building out of many. Sometimes the teachers would turn off the lights as if it would help. We also had dress code until my senior year. No jeans, no facial hair, no hair touching your ears, and girls had to wear dresses. |

Every school I attended had heat, air conditioning, and running water. #20thCentury |

I'm not a real mountain biker. Fat bike can do snow and single track. One bike to rule them all, unless you are a real mountain biker. It's not fast, but it's fun.

I don't think any decision has been made by the school district here yet. Only 650,000 students in LA Unified. All of my schooling was with that district.

Full disclosure: In PA, it was only bad the first week or two at the beginning and end of the year. This was before your fellow Tennessean Al Gore invented the internet, global warming and inconvenient truths. |

Down here in the desert it's fun to ride full rigid that doesn't beat you up, and they float across sandy washes with aplomb. |

May had to have hurt just a little. |

What rims and tires? https://www.universalcycles.com/shop...&category=3649 Dunno about tires yet really. I'll probably lace some 26er fat rims to those hubs if/when we get back close to some snow. |
