Trying to do a long ride on an recumbent exercise bike is impossible.
I positioned the seat so that I had a very slight bend when my leg was farthest away, but I kept sliding down the whole time I was on it. All of the details it provided were wrong. I was doing the interval option which I guess simulates climbing a mountain and then descending. On the descents my cadence felt normal but the machine showed 120-130 and on the climbs it felt really slow it showed 99. Dont get me started on the watts. Will give it a go again tomorrow, but I cannot wait to get home. |

I don't have the legs for single speed gravel. At least, not with the terrain we have around here.

I don't take my fixed gear many places here. |

Soft opening of the shop's second location today, including a group ride.
Going to try it out, the route is on much more familiar and less trafficked roads, so maybe it won't be as stressful. |

JSU Band is very large and known for its high standards. This is the team that beat FSU? |
West Coast OT alert.

The Savage Century was fun, but indeed a tough ride. I am glad I swapped my 12–25 for the 11-28 as I did need the 28 on some of the tougher climbs. Some of the descents were a bit choppy/unnerving but otherwise a fine ride.
