Sorry to hear. Wonder if it’s a staffing issue due to COVID.

The fellow who was supposed to be in-house first call on NYE and whom I was asked to cover for because I am the senior person on call that day and because I do everything around the institute that no one else will do, has straightened out his visa issue and landed at IAD. So, the patients are safe and I am much relieved! I assume he’s happy too and will appreciate the 75$/hr.

The judge is an older federal court judge. Our speculation is that he caught the Cov.

Short-ish ride after all. 40 degrees at the start but we were all dressed for it, even the one guy who always gets cold, and our leader took us straight to a series of steep little climbs. I was not having a good time and let him know, after he waited for me. Finally we got out of there and did some fun riding.
We eventually stopped at a Starbucks and while sitting outside sipping hot drinks the clouds rolled in and covered the sun. The drop in temperature was dramatic so we got going again and got warmed back up. The sky got darker but it stayed dry. It's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow.

Have always loved that color, but I have wide feel.

RIP John Madden. He was 85.

The Porsche 356 that I shot in 2017. The guy drove it regularly, and was one of 4 Porsche sports cars that he had.

Off-the-charts productivity today. I accomplished more while DougRNS was napping that he did all day, probably.

Define the chart so we can decide.

I have them on a pair of road shoes I use on the commuter/gravelator. They’re pretty good.

Forgot all about those, I might just go that route. I had been thinking of doing some Dremel action, since I already have a spare pair of SPD cleat plates lying around here somewhere.

Five hours in the morning, then almost five hours of office work.

Don't you make more per hour in the office than you would have to pay someone to rake leaves?
