We don't have to. The shop also provides shirts.

I imagine there's an east coast bathwater equivalent of the event :)

picked up a cold on the weekend. it's a nasty little bastid. It's gone to my chest and my breathing is so bad I thought I was going to have to use my inhaler this morning. :( :notamused:

Here we go again. Back to mask wearing. I've heard the " it's like trying to stop mosquitos with a chain link fence" argument 3 times in 15 minutes. How do you combat that kind of logic?

ls01 08-09-21 03:42 AM

Feel better gnome!

You can’t fix stupid.

Yeah we’re thinking the same thing you’re thinking. Get well soon.

I’ve been wearing a mask again inside public places like stores for a couple of weeks even though I got vaccinated back in May. Got an 11 hour Amtrak ride scheduled for September. That will be a challenge.

Its a horrible situation, but she was reiterating her stance to a group of friends and my wife just a couple weeks ago. So sad.

My wish for people that are anti-vax and get COVID19 is not that they are seriously harmed. My hope is that they have a full recovery and start spreading the word to get vaccinated.

Exactly. My wife got a report overnight that the poor woman is breathing a little better so hopefully she’ll recover

Well, tbh I feel that there at least needs to be sufficient suffering along the way, otherwise they'll triple-down on their stance and prolly shout it even more loudly.

Yep. "See?!?! I survived no problem. Told you It's no worse than the flu."

Chain link fence. See how well they fit through.

Since we're all vaccinated down at the shop, we stopped wearing masks at work when the CDC guideline changed. That lasted the month of July. We went back to masking up at work last week.

Yep, my parents. My mother 2 days ago telling me "I'm immune ". I don't need to get vaccinated. Oh Lort, give me strength. I can't argue with her, she's 81. Mutate schmutate! It was like a cold....

Oy vey!....

It's a wet, inshore boat that is not meant for offshore, and is normally crewed by 4 or 5. Sitting headroom at most below with no heat and a bucket for a head. No cooking equipment. Can't imagine 750 miles on that thing with 7 other people.

Otherwise a fast and fun boat. Not normally equipped with bike propulsion.

Closest thing is Annapolis-Newport and that’s just an offshore sailing race, not

like the Iditarod, on a boat, with a chance of drowning, being run down by a freighter, or eaten by a grizzly bear.
Yeesh!

Also no cash and usually warmer.

Interesting I wasn't aware this existed in the 510. However, the way I read it for the 510, it's not a light mode, just a radar tracking mode. ie. I couldn't find any mention that there's any change to the light intensity or flashing behavior, only that a following bicyclist is able to be tracked, without the threat level color bars being lit up until a fast approaching vehicle shows up.
