Have to say, I've never run aground under sail, only under power. Doing it under spin would be funny but not funny at the same time, but only to an observer or ten years later.
Was t-boned and t-boned once each, fortunately not helming or on my boat either time. |

Recall this is the dumbed-down NYT version. The original UK version would probably be a better choice.

Almost 40 degrees 'merican today, supposed to rain cats and dogs tomorrow. Then snow again.

Soon I am going to attempt changing of the shifter batteries.

I had to change the battery in my PM Saturday. The struggle is real. |

My buddy got stuck in 35/10 yesterday because his batteries were toast. |
Okay doctors-
I’ve been having pressure on my temples with corresponding dizziness at times. It comes and goes but is never present when exercising. No balance issues, my pupils respond to light, and no other neuro symptoms as far as I can tell. Thinking it’s either tension headache or sinus infection. I see my PCP today at 3, but was curious about thoughts |

I think seeing your PCP to get checked in person is a good idea!
it happened a few weeks ago too, but ultimately went away. |

This doesn't make up for the other day's failure on "swill", but it helps.

Telemedicine is an option but given drop in cases lately and value of physical exam, I suggest office visit is Plan A and telemedicine is Plan B.

I think about the times I felt I needed to see a doctor, and in almost none of them did it seem telemedicine would work. Even the largely pointless witch doctor "exams" they listen to heart/breathing. Can't do that over the internets.

Including drive time, an office visit takes about 3 to 3.5 hours whereas the telephone call takes about 15 minutes.
If you could do a virtual consultation, and have blood sample taken at a nearby lab, that would make telemedicine more practical for many situations, but that's not how most doctors work, is it? |

I haven't been to a doctor's office but once in the last 3 years. The one I go to is my cardiologist who's office is less than a mile from me (he actually lives next door to my office). |
