Imagine if a paralegal could work autonomously or semi-autonomously and compete with you and say they can do "everything" a lawyer could do. That's a taste of noctors. There is more to it than that, but yeah, the healthcare system is dysfunctional in many ways. what is a physician assistant? Twice I have had to meet with one because my Doctor was unavailable. To me it seemed she could do everything my Doctor could do. My co pay didn’t care. |

I dunno exactly, but I just wind up getting appointments with a PA, not that there's a doctor who's unavailable. The one I've been booked with twice was very nice about putting things in my butt.
