SRAM Derailluers

So I was having debate here with a fellow about how he thought SRAM derailleurs were junk because some sticks got jammed in them and they broke. Low and behold the heavy hand of moderation banned me for a week for debating that with the guy.

Did anyone else in that thread get banned for trying to point out that sticks were the problem not the brand of the derailleur?

As it happens, I also had a stick get jammed in my rear SRAM derailleur. Maybe it is a thing

You weren't banned for 'debating.' You were banned because a moderator told you to leave the thread and yet you continued 'debating.' Big difference.

Seems like this thread is designed to get you another ban.

Everyone in prison claims they're innocent.

I remember the thread. I did question his logic and didn't get banned. All my SRAM mechs have remained stick free, so not yet junk.

1.) If I was told to leave, I never saw the post by the moderator.
2.) Why would I have been told to leave for debating about a derailleur?

+1

Hopefully the ban stick will break your derailleur.

When someone quotes you, it's kind of hard to claim you didn't see it. You get a notification. And I'm sure the moderator sent you a pm explaining why you were banned.

The easiest way to get banned (again) is to discuss a PM in public. PM means PRIVATE Memo, between you and another party, in this case yours truly. If you wish to discuss your banning, or anything of a disciplinary nature, simply write me a PM and we will discuss it in PRIVATE. But starting a thread to gather sympathy is the worst thing you can do.

But I'm in a good mood today, I'm going to excuse you this one time and give you a break, no banishment for the PM violation this time. If you wish to discuss your last ban just PM me, but we will not discuss it here. I hope we are clear.
