Looking For Info On Giant Butte.

I am looking for Frames Specs on the Giant Butte. If anyone has information that would be great!

"It's a butte."
"No, it's a mound"
"And right purdy too!"

Seriously - - one of these?

My Ex wife has a Giant Butte...

gymdude678 02-23-09 02:20 PM

Ya!?

I am looking for parts for it. I am going to use it to ride around town. I need to get some specs on the frame because i would rather get the parts online. yes i know that it is a old bike but i would rather not beat up my trek 4500.

junkyard 02-23-09 03:50 PM

Nice. You're going to ride a Giant Butte around town.

Dirt Farmer 02-23-09 08:40 PM

Wow. I have never found so little information on any bike on Google before. When even the interwebs (that series of tubes) comes up empty, that is an oddity.

Good luck in your search.

This thread has become the butte of too many jokes. Won't anybody provide some ass-istance to the OP?

I have the original owners manual from my 91 Butte 16L. Don’t see any specs except for “Calculating distance for gear combinations”. It’s got a lifetime warranty, so I would think you could get the specs from Giant

What would Hugh Jassman ride?

As long as the OP does not have the ability to lie, someone will probably help him. There is no denying this.

Is this a bike designed to be ridden in the forest? Amongst treeks ?

I think the OP probably found what he needed at some point in the last 13 years.

Butte half the fun now is thinking of puns about Buttes -- giant or otherwise and we could turn this into a 50 page thread :lol::lol:
