What if you put on fingerless gloves?

This chapter of Addiction will begin with titanium bikes.

We'll begin with the makeover of Mo's beautiful $4000 Lynskey. The bike has lost its way. Could you please post your photos, Mo?

Just before a good cleaning only to get dirty the following weekend during a century to Brooklyn that included rain.

Got in an early and chilly ride. It was windy but very refreshing. My hope is it’s the last ride this season where I will need winter gloves and jacket.

I somehow kept hearing “Your Pizza’s Burning” sung to “Beast of Burden” during the ride, I imagine it was last nights dinner that fueled the ride.

I’m even back on the Addiction podium now, I suspect it won’t last.

Happy Mother’s Day to all, especially any lurking mothers. Any real mothers in Addiction?

There are prolly some muthas

That photo is years old. Bar tape was replaced. LHT needs new tape though. I patched a spot with medical tape.

The weather is perfect in Roanoke today. 63 and sunny. I’m kicking myself for not bringing my cycling gear, rental would be 50 bucks for the day. Went walking down a greenway, didn’t realize it was closed and got stopped by a cop. Luckily for me the signs had been removed where I entered or I would have gotten a ticket.

Maybe even hit with the stick. Or worse.

Or 93, depending on where you are.I find myself putting on a wrap at 82.

seedsbelize 05-10-20 03:53 PM

I got 49mpg on the way home from Costco this morning. Kept the cruise control set to 80 km/h (50mph). I've found, on smaller roads, I can do even better at 35mph. The key is lack of topes. If they are present in any quantity, it drops into the low to mid 30s

That was last Sunday. It's nice enough to ride this afternoon, but I mowed a lawn and now feel lazy.

Trsnrtr 05-10-20 04:10 PM

I rode 23.5 miles today. Because of the chill (46°), 20 mph winds, and occasional drizzle, I did an urban ride on my trike. First ride since Thursday because of my eyeball injection.
