How to run a red light.

I saw that yesterday, the crash was, in my opinion, 100% the cyclists fault, but the DB in the car is 100% guilty of a hit-and-run, which is especially stupid singe it wasn't their fault at all.

with that footage & not using the default law, it should not be hard to determine who's really at fault.

So, was this an accident?

the guy did not even look for traffic either. well instant karma and maybe it will keep him off a bike and alive.

Looks like cyclist ran a red light, lucky he wasnt killed.

At 4:03 it shows the better reverse direction view. Almost looks like a Russian insurance scam unfolding.
Made good use of their helmet at least.
Funny thing is yesterday evening I was riding slow downtown. Came upon 2 accidents. 2 cars at a T intersection and the other was a car hitting a motorcycle whose rider was limping after.

If the driver had stayed, he would have gotten released. Now he faces jail-time for hit-and-run.

Not siding with the cyclist but even ambulance drivers slow down at intersections with their sirens blaring.

A driver without a valid drivers license or insurance, car or plates were stolen, or the driver was drunk.
All are reasons for someone to flee the scene even if not at fault.
In this case it may also be an entitled politician trying to stay out of the news.

The vehicle operator might just be tired of being impeded by darwinism & had to drop a hot #2.

That driver is innocent and shouldn`t face any hit and run charges...The cyclist is 100% at fault here.

Never mind the collision itself. He would have been released if he stayed. It's the Run part in Hit-and-Run that's illegal and he'll face charges for that.

Whole lot of things going on there. Cars parked in cross walk obstructing view, parking cop just drives by and it looks like that guy who was crossing the street got in his car to go after the involved car. Bicyclist was lucky to land on his backpack.

When did we ever have a good name?

Not then. People thought bicyclists were scaring the horses. And were a danger to pedestrians. You can find a lot of anti bike screeds from the early days.

DAMN! that newbie biker had enough fat on so he just bounced off the asphalt. He didn't even look. As for the driver.....a lot of times they have been drinking and go home, sober up and then come forward and say..."I didn't realize I had hit anything......" so they don't get a DUI or DWI.

Ya, and better to not ride with sandals on.....
